Marie Reinecke is a master's student in Psychology and joined the Clinical Developmental Psychology / Risk and Resilience research group at the Jacobs Center for her master’s thesis. In her thesis she examines the outcomes of exposure to maternal depressive symptoms in childhood. Marie received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Zurich and also studied at the University of Heidelberg. In addition to her studies, she has completed several internships; in psychiatric hospitals for children and adolescents and adults as well as in school psychology. She also worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Child and Adolescent Health Psychology. Her areas of interest include clinical psychology and the influence of developmental processes on mental disorders especially in in childhood and adolescence.
