I investigate how age-associated and individual differences in attention focus, in terms of goal focus und emotional aspects, are reflected in cortisol levels. Moreover, I am interested in the interplay of cortisol and testosterone and its explanatory power for behavior. My research is embedded in a large-scale study dealing with healthy aging, in which data is predominately collect by participants in their daily life, using a variety of methods including phone survey assessments and eye-tracking.
