Brief Research Statement
As a doctoral student of the NCCR LIVES, IP7, I investigate processes of recovery and exhaustion in different areas of life. The research emphasis lies on the influence of subjective expectations on effort and exhaustion. From a developmental perspective, I am interested in the period of middle adulthood, especially in the phenomenon "rush hour of life". From a motivational-psychological perspective, I also focus on goal processes and self-regulatory processes.
