LIFE interviewer training at the chair for Clinical Psychology with Focus on Psychotherapy Research

An interviewer- training for the implementation of LIFE-interviews within the CoLiPri project took place at our department on September 16-17, taking into account the current COVID-19 measures. We are especially pleased that we were able to welcome guests from the Department of General Interventional Psychology and Psychotherapy in addition to our project collaborators. The working group of Prof. Christoph Flückinger plans to use LIFE  in a current study, for the recording of long-term courses in patients with generalized anxiety disorders.

The Longitual Interval Follow-up Evaluation (LIFE) is a semi-structured interview used in clinical and epidemiological studies to retrospectively diagnose the course and changes of DSM-5 Axis I disorders. It enables the precise dating and presentation of the onset and duration of disorder episodes over long follow-up periods, providing information on remissions, relapses and duration of disorder-free intervals.
