Examination procedure
The candidate opens the examination with a short 5-minute presentation on a topic of their choice from the examination literature. No notes or powerpoint permitted. This is followed by an expert discussion based on the content of the main examination literature.
Prepared short presentation (max. 5 min) on a topic from The Oxford Handbook of Clinical Psychology (2014) David H. Barlow (ed.) (accessible online via UZH library) - with follow-up questions (max. 5 min) For example: what are the basic features of psychotherapy? What is evidence-based practice? How is technology used in clinical psychotherapy?
Questions from the examiner on 1 or 2 areas from the overall field of clinical psychology (including psychopathology) based on the required readings (10-15 min)
Short answer/dialogue and overall discussion (5 min)
