Language and Executive Functions

Languages are great – the smaller our world gets, the more people get confronted with different languages. But does this only increases our language abilities? Or does this also spread to other cognitive functions needed for successful goal-directed actions. To answer this question, we designed a big study to test for the influence of language abilities on cognitive functions. The design and results of this study can be found here:
