Jennifer M. Belus is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Zurich and leads the Chair of Prevention and Mental Health. She received her BA in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University and her MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by a clinical internship at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Her research focuses on the treatment and prevention of mental health and substance use problems, with a particular interest in how social and interpersonal factors shape health and treatment outcomes. Her work focuses on improving access to evidence-based care, which includes integrating behavioral interventions into both healthcare and community settings. Her research uses quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods approaches, with an emphasis on developing, evaluating, and implementing scalable interventions in resource-limited settings.
