My research examines how leadership influences teamwork and performance under extreme conditions. I view leadership as a dynamic process and analyze how leaders adapt their behaviors to enable team success. I also investigate how in-action team reflexivity, the deliberate reflection during performance phases to realign goals, share critical information, and adapt in real time, affects teamwork and team performance.
Through experiments and field studies in high-risk contexts such as healthcare, I identify strategies that help leaders and teams achieve peak performance in critical moments
