Research Focus

A key focus of our research is on stress and health at work. We investigate which working conditions contribute to strain and how recovery and long-term well-being can be achieved. Furthermore, we address the work-life interface, analyzing how professional and private demands interact and the role played by boundaries, personal resources, and social support in daily life. We also examine these topics within the context of new forms of work, particularly working from home (remote work), hybrid collaboration, and digital technologies and AI. To capture everyday work experiences realistically, we primarily employ longitudinal designs and experience sampling studies.
