Brief Research Statement

Social norms influence our everyday behavior. Depending on how strongly we identify with a social group (e.g., a group of friends), the social norms from this group can have a stronger or weaker effect on our behavior. In my research project, I investigate how social norms and identification with social groups influence protective health behavior. This research is funded by the SNSF and is supervised by Prof. Dr. Alexandra Freund and Prof. Dr. Urte Scholz.
