Charly (they/them) is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Pedagogy at Humboldt University of Berlin and is completing a research internship with the Swiss LGBTIQ+ Panel at the University of Zurich. Prior to this, Charly completed a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Pedagogy at Humboldt University of Berlin and gained several years of practical experience working with people with disabilities and in the field of social psychiatry. Their main interests include health promotion and empowerment of gender and sexual minorities, as well as the intersections of disability, chronic illness, and LGBTIQ+ identities. Outside of academia, Charly enjoys hiking as a way to slow down and recharge, especially in alpine environments, and on their bike.
