Sara holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Zurich. In her master’s thesis, she explored how socioeconomic status is related to children's well-being, with a particular focus on risk and protective factors. In addition to her expertise in psychology, Sara also holds an M.A. in Social Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven. She combines her interdisciplinary background in design and psychology to encourage children and adults to shape their own interiors and unfold their potential.
At present, Sara Kadesch is a doctoral researcher at the University Children’s Hospital Zurich and the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development at the University of Zurich in the field of developmental pediatrics. As part of the CONNECT project, which is supported by the university’s research priority program AdaBD (Adaptive Brain Circuits in Development and Learning), she integrates clinical practice with neuroscience research. Her focus is on multisensory integration, socioemotional development, and functional network activities in children with global developmental delay. The goal is to bridge research and practice to improve the well-being of children with learning disorders and their families.
